Hand spun

My dear sweet friend,Noelle, gave me a beautiful birthday gift. Several skeins of hand spun wool were in the project bag she made me. I loved it! It seemed delicate so I doubled it, pulling from the outside and the center. But now I'm not so sure it needed to be doubled.  But I am keeping it this way instead. Thicker and warmer. I want a few more little blankets for the children in the living room. I also like lap blankets. So that is my plan with this. A simple blanket. I love the color. A pinkish purple. With tiny bits of yellow. And a whitish stripe at times. Random times. Whenever I feel like it.
I haven't been knitting or crocheting much. My shoulder is a mess. And really is not fun. Hard to milk.  Hard to hold things in my right hand. I need to find a reason and heal it. But for now I tend to use it til it is unbearable. Then rest it long enough I can again tolerate it. I used to see a friend to massage it. But I  would much rather spend my money on other things right now. Silly. Maybe.
Right now it is tolerable except at night when it is worn out and I am trying to be comfortable in bed. So I am pushing it to see if I can crochet this. If that works I only have 5-7 started projects I can finish...
Here is a picture of my bag. I really love it! She lined it with orange. My 2 favorite bags are from her. Check out her blog! You'd love it!
