MOM!!! It Snowed for my birthday!!!!

Yesterday we got our first snow of the year! I was praying hard that it would be short lived. The Willy saw it and was so excited! I forgot how exciting snow is to children. I am not a fan. They have to tell me each year how great it is.

We hurried out to take pictures. It was gone at least as fast as it came.But they did get to run out and enjoy 5 minutes worth of snow. ;)

I remember eating them as a child too. But for now I'll stick with the

good stuff like Snow ice cream ;)

SNOW!!! ( these are a couple weeks old...)

We got 20 inches of snow. And a day or 2 later another 4 inches! Never seen that much snow in my life! Brrrr. I stayed in! But we all had snow ice cream a couple times!! And our neighbor plowed our drive for us! Praise the Lord! So glad people help people out here. Still need to get him some cookies as a thank you!

Donut dough....

Had a huge want of donuts for about a week! Finally had to give in and make some. So easy. Took a little time but so worth it! Was worth the time and effort for sure. These were cake donuts so they are faster than yeast donuts. Here are pics of making up the dough. More pics coming later. The boy loved the mini donut holes! They disappeared fast with no sugar or chocolate frosting! Finished donut pictures on the way!
