Local picnic race winners

Naomi got a first place in the 24 mth and under foot race. 

First in a 'tie' in the bike race. The little girl had trouble getting their bikes over the grass. So the men judging just pushed them across the field. 

I can't remember if this was for the running or ball toss. I was certain I'd remember. 

Running race. 

Sack race. This boy was strong and determined. He was very different from his reluctance of last year. 

Three legged race. They walked quickly across the field in sync. Hard to do in a loose feed sack. But they did it so well. 

Bike race. 

I missed a photo of Tubby with his sack race 1st place ribbon. He did it with a cute little guy named Patrick. 

Judah didn't win anything this year. But the day before he was attacked by a nest  of bumble bees. His face was ballooned. He was scared to do the races as he didn't want to be made fun of. I told him he didn't have to race but if he did them all I'd give him a prize for being brave. (Last year he was too reserved til the end so only entered 1 race.) he did it. And was never made fun of. 

   

This was Friday when it happened. Saturday morning of the races it was much worse.
