I have found though I DO have the time to teach the Littles their alphabet, I just don't stay on task with it well enough. So this came from Amazon yesterday.
We haven't and likely won't watch the first video. I see no need to glamorize school. The Letter Factory has been great. One episode last night and one today and they nearly have the alphabet and sounds down. Worth it already. I hate using videos to teach. But I can't do it all. And my bigs are in a self teaching curriculum. Which still requires my attention as well. We attempt to school year round. So we can take breaks as needed. I am working on getting a file like planner running so we can easier keep track of hrs. And with our limited (very limited) internet that is hard. My plan is to print out a planner like teachers use. But more large family homeschool friendly. Then I want to Coptic stitch bind it so it lays flat. And has plenty of writing space.
I am needing to print out some charts to keep our hrs and things listed. As well as some daily to do lists. But for a while it is just a random, do something daily. Type of learning. That is my best in this garden season.
I took a couple mile walk this morning. And have meant to get out to the garden all day. So far I only got animal chores done. And it is lunch time... Oops
I need to start going through each room and get rid of things hard. But I keep procrastinating. I never know what to get rid of. I often regret something. But it needs done badly.
